Sep 30 - Oct 6: WEEK #2: The Eighth Annual Intensive Sandbridge Workshop for Intermediate and Advanced Players at the beach. Sandbridge, VA. To apply for acceptance into this workshop, contact Ken. Typically, we manage at least 5 hours of workshop time each day, as well as plenty of free time for practice, jamming, informal instruction, taking walks on the beach (it is warm enough to swim in the ocean!), etc. I rent a VERY large house (sleeps 26!!--to see the house, go to www.sandbridgerealty.com and look for "The Sunseeker") right on the beach. Dinners are prepared by a chef for participants (all food is covered in the fee). We typically do lots of seafood with steamed crabs, crab cakes, cream of crab soup, shrimp, salmon etc.! We offer a vegetarian option as well. This is an affordable week (comparable to many of the music camps) and lots of fun. Over the three weeks, we have had up to 45 players coming from 14 different states. High quality loaner instruments are provided for those needing to fly. Extra night stays are possible before and after the workshop. Contact Ken for planning workshops like this in your area. www.sandbridgedulcimer.com
