Emerging from the pandemic, we are anxious to share our new recordings! Three of them!!
On March 13, 2020 Ken & Brad Kolodner released Stony Run - just in time for a global pandemic! Our regular band mates, Alex Lacquement (bass, banjo, vocals) and Rachel Eddy (fiddle, guitar, banjo) joined us on the recording. In early 2021, Scottish National Fiddle Champion Elke Baker and Ken released their second CD together: On a Cold Winter's Day. Guests include Alex Lacquement and Helicon alum Robin Bullock. Finally, Brad Kolodner has just completed his first solo CD: Chimney Swifts. Ken & Brad, Alex, Rachel, Elke, and some special guests will perform in this celebration of THREE new recordings created during the pandemic!

Join the Kolodners for an intimate backyard concert featuring some of the finest old-time musicians around. Widely known as one of the top hammered dulcimer players in the U.S. and a fine old-time fiddler, Baltimore’s Ken Kolodner is joined by his son, Brad Kolodner who has rapidly gained national recognition for his driving yet subtle old-time clawhammer banjo playing. Joining Ken & Brad will be Alex Lacquement on bass and vocals, Rachel Eddy on fiddle, guitar, and vocals. Ken and Elke Baker (on fiddle and viola) will perform a set from their new recording (with Alex). And Brad will have a bunch of guests performing music from his new CD.
