No Excuses! Just Play!

For over 20 years, I have collected "excuses" from students in private lessons and in workshops why they might have missed a note or two! I must admit that I have used many of the excuses myself. As a joke, I thought it would be fun to make up a t-shirt with excuses that we have all used to help explain why we don't play better. The t-shirt caught on far more than I had ever imagined. So here it is. My daughter Hillary and my son Bradley modeled the shirts. I used high quality 100% cotton heavy weight Gildan t-shirts. On the back are listed over 25 excuses: "I know I can play it better but.... It sounded better at home. I can't play when someone is watching. I play better in the morning. These are the wrong hammers. I don't like that tune anyway. These are the wrong glasses. There are too many shadows..." and many more! Enjoy it and wear it proudly! Fiddles for Sale/Rent
I offer for sale a variety of fiddles made by Bob Morgan. Bob originally came to me to learn to play fiddle. I quickly discovered that he makes absolutely wonderful instruments at very reasonable prices ranging from $750 to $1250. I also have restored student violins at prices starting around $350. I carry all accessories including bows (I like carbon fiber), light-weight cases and everything else you might need (shoulder rests, strings, tuners etc.). A rent-to-buy option is available.
