HELICON (1987)
Ken Kolodner (hammered
dulcimer and fiddle)
Chris Norman (wooden flute and tin whistle)
Robin Bullock (guitar, cittern, fiddle)
Chris and Ken met
Robin Bullock at a festival in Maryland and quickly discovered a musical
affinity that was to result in years of collaboration continuing to this
day. This CD, recorded live at the historic Ethel's Place in Baltimore,
MD, represents their first work as trio. The repertoire on this recording
is more rooted in Celtic and American traditions than their later work
and the ensemble precision is certainly on display.
